I'd REALLY appreciate it if anyone out there would post the recipe for (I think they were called) Honey Roasted Onions (back around 99). They are pearls onions w/ honey and vinegar that you bake.... very simple recipe... however I've seemed to misplace it. Help! Thanks a bunch!

This looks like the recipe you wanted, but it uses Vidalias instead of pearl onions. Hope this helps!

Honey Roasted Onions

2 large Vidalia onions or other sweet onions -- about 1 1/4 pounds OR
1 tablespoon water
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon butter or margarine -- melted
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper -- (1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon)
Preheat oven to 350º.
Peel onions, and cut in half crosswise. Place onions, cut sides down, in an 8-inch square baking dish; drizzle with water. Cover with foil; bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
Combine honey and remaining ingredients. Turn onions over; brush half of honey mixture over onions. Bake, uncovered, an additional 30 minutes or until tender, basting with remaining honey mixture after 15 minutes.

Thanks for responding - although unfortunately this is not the one :-(
I'm not sure exactly what month/year it was in - but I know it's at least 1yr or older. The recipe I am looking for definitely uses pearl onions. And only has like 3 or 4 ingredients total.

Sherry Vinegar-Glazed Pearl Onions

8 cups water
2 pounds pearl onions -- peeled
cooking spray
3/4 cup sherry vinegar -- or red wine vinegar
1/4 cup honey
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Preheat oven to 400º.
Bring the water to a boil in a large saucepan; add onions. Cook 3 minutes or until tender; drain. Place onions in a 13x9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Combine vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Pour vinegar mixture over onions. Bake at 400º for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
