Sweet Gail. Here is a rose to place near your puter to help you feel better and that you don't hurt too much.

Awww.... thank you. That's so sweet.
But you've got to stop calling me "Sweet Gail." It's really out of character. Those who met me in Birmingham will tell you I'm actually a fire-breathing dragon. Or socially enept. But definitely not sweet.

You can't be all that bad or I would have heard. Regardless, sorry you're out of whack and hope you're feeling better soon and that you're car's soon back in tip top shape too. I had to do a search 'cuz I hadn't seen the other thread. Fortunatley, our cars often do take the worst of it. It's not pretty, but effective. Take care.

Fire-breathing? Dragon? Oh, she's not all that bad... my hair was only a little singed http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/tongue.gif
Seriously, rest up Gail -- I hope you feel better soon. Nothing's interfering with your magic-making in the kitchen, I hope?

I must have missed something, too. Gail-I hope you are ok. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
Not a big deal, really. Got in a car accident over the weekend which left me kind of sore and stiff. Please notice the mouth is still fully engaged. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/tongue.gif

Poor Gail - hope you're feeling better soon.
Good point, Grace.
Actually, I'm much more in my element in written form. Wonder if my fingers actually twitch in my sleep!

Glad to see you still have your sense of humor- how is the car? Hope that it is not totalled(sp?).
Seriously, take care of yourself, sometimes ailments come on afterwards -pamper yourself, you deserve it!!

Gail,
Glad you are ok. Hope the car repairs and dealing with insurance, etc. aren't too much of a headache. Also hope the aches go away soon.
Keep those fingers flying! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

I hope it's not either. No word yet. The preliminary examination seemed like they might be able to repair it. I'm hoping. I'm rather fond of my wheels. Plus, this is Southern California. How will I get to the bathroom if I can't drive my car?

Gail, I didn't mean to sound insensitive about you, asking about the car! I just know that it can be a bear sometimes, is there a patron saint for automobiles?? Loved the needing the car to get to a bathroom, too funny!!
Take care and keep those fingers flying...

Hi Gail, I don't know you, but I'd still like to add my best wishes to the list. It's so nice to finally meet a fellow Dragon.
Be well,
