I wanted to try the new Black Bean Dip from June for a dinner party tomorrow evening.
What do you guys think of me making it tonight and just reheating it for Friday night? Thanks.

i don't see why you can't. i would think it would allow the flavors to mesh more. i haven't made it yet but sure plan to.

let me know how you like it

shoyski,
Reading the recipe now and it's not heated before serving. The bell peppers are roasted but probably cooled and the chips are what's baked at 400º. So unless you were planning to vary from the recipe, making it today shouldn't be a problem.

You can make this ahead and it will be great. I made it last weekend and ate a little bit everyday. It still tasted good on Thursday. It is soooo easy that I'll probably make this a staple when entertaining.

this was a great dip! i upped the jalapenos to 2. just the perfect amt of spice! I also have never made my own chips from tortillas before until this recipe. They were fantastic! i dusted them with a little chile powder before baking. This was good at room temp and just as good eaten from the fridge!

Oops, I was bad. I forgot the review! Sorry...glad to see others on top of things. This received rave reviews and I'll be making it again very soon.

Also, if you have your peppers already roasted, this is one of the fastest recipes ever to make! On to the Split-Pea with Garlic Dip.
