I am going to make this dish from the December issue this weekend. Any ideas for side dishes/vegis/salad that would complement it? Do you think a sweet potato dish would go?
ps We had this chicken at one of our CL dinners--it is superb.

Maybe something more plain like a rice pilaf? I'm not really good at sides, sorry.

Hi. I looked it up and I had it marked as "to try out". Because the chicken is served on top of the salsa I would pair it with rice and a green salad. I thought of sweet potatoes but you are using cranberry orange and it will spread on the plate as well as mashed sweet potatoes so I would go with a different texture which would be rice. Because its under Tex Mex article flavor I would go with something like mexican Rice or yellow rice. I would then go with a green salad so you end up with different textures and colors in your plate.
