I think mine just might be Faith Hill and Tim McGraw - just read this article about a concert they are doing for Katrina relief. Nice to see a couple want to do good, especially for a region that still needs help and attention (and visitors!)!
Concert (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060512/ap_en_mu/people_hill_mcgraw;_ylt=AmhLqMf_wWp9nFoBiPLBLOl2F7 8C;_ylu=X3oDMTA3YXYwNDRrBHNlYwM3NjI-)
My other favorite is Bradley Whitford and Jane Kasymarek.

I just saw Faith and Tim in concert on Sunday night . . . oooooo la la. They are darling together. Their last they sang together was right to each other, then Tim laid a big romantic kiss on her at the end of the song. The crowd went nuts.
I vote Tim and Faith too. :p

Me three! I love the two of them and would be devastated if they broke up! There I admit it!

I like Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, probably because they aren't in the news too often.

Bobby and Whitney!
TomKat!
K-Fed and Brittney!
OK I'm KIDDING! But the aforementioned couples give good gossip!
I'll say Paul and Joanne for old people and add Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon.
For young couples-Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams. They look so incredibly happy together.
I hope I haven't doomed them.

KristiB...too funny! I was about to list Nick & Jessica but I guess they aren't a couple anymore....
A couple that always seem so together would be Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. They seem like they REALLY DO respect each other.

I've been wondering about Jada. She's been looking...well... manly lately

Oh My... what bad pics of Jada... that stomach as got to go... I would never think of wearing something that would show that off!!!!! I saw her on Oprah sometime back and thought that she was also very 'manly'... had on jeans and sat with her legs WIDE apart... it was very distracting and I don't think I had ever seen a woman sitting like that..... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Yeah I saw her band in concert and she looks pretty manly in life too.
I never thought "man-hips" were attractive on women.
As far as the stomach goes that's too much skin and too little boddy fat. I assume the extra skin is from having 2 kids.

I have to agree here - these two were fantastic. This picture is from "Desk Set" - one of my all time favorite movies. I watched "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" last night - No one will ever come close to Tracy & Hepburn.
Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman are also an excellent choice!
I'll add Bogie and Bacall.

You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? You just put your lips together, and blow...

i actually walked away from the puter to think this one through, and Terri, i give you beaucoup credit b/c they are a wonderful (one hopes) modern example.
my first thoughts, being somewhat older, were also Bacall & Bogart, Tracy & Hepburn---that dynamic was so clear in their best films. plus, Woodward/Newman---well, he's famous for the "why would i go out for hamburger when i have steak at home?" tribute to her. wowzers! how lucky can a gal get?
another couple i admire is Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins. lucky, lucky her!!!! a younger guy who's been there mebbe 18 years now, and they are both on the same page politically, etc.
i'm also thinking of Meryll Streep and her husband, the sculptor, (Donald Gump, i believe) esp. since they also shun the spotlight.
lol, now that i'm thinking more, i would say that the Taylor/Burton saga was more entertaining, perhaps, than any of the aforementioned couples. i mean, think about it---they married, divorced, fought like cats and dogs, and remarried. that, to me, is either true love or major codependency, both of which may be the same.
TMI, as usual,
suzanne
ps--we cannot forget Bancroft and Brooks!!! now, that was another phenomenal collaboration. and then there's Sawyer/Nichols....etc etc etc.
it's really impossible to generalize about something like this.
