I have been going bonkers trying to find a floppy that has a copy of my resume and was wondering if it is possible to scan the resume on to a computer and then save it? ps while looking for it, i stumbled on to some old papers i wrote and was wondering when you go to the start menu and you look uner browse and gives you the list of what you have done, is there a way to erase that. Computer troubles, eh? I am a novice at computing, but here are some ideas for you.

As for your resume, you can save it on your computer without a floppy disk. You can save it onto your hard drive (c http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif or you could save it onto your desktop (so that it would be on your screen with other program icons, like netscape or aol.) Do you have a scanner? You could also email it to someone or yourself and print it that way.

To delete files, you can either remove them from your file list by dragging it over(with your mouse) to the "recycle" bin (which is an icon on your desktop.) Or you can go into the file list on your computer and hit the right mouse button. It will bring up a menu that also has "delete". If you hit that it will ask you if you want to delete the file, and you hit yes. It may ask a second time just to make sure.
