View Full Version : A couple of questions... Mushroom and Spinach Frittata with Goat Cheese, May 06

Has anyone made this? It looks interesting. I'd love any reviews. I also have two questions:

I couldn't find "refrigerated shredded hash brown potatoes (such as Simply Potatoes)" in my store. Can shredded baking potatoes be substituted? I can easily shred some with my Cuisinart.

Also, if I choose not to use egg substitute, does anyone know how many eggs would equal 1 3/4 cups egg substitute? Should I just crack a lot of eggs until I get 1 3/4 cups?

Thanks for the links. I missed the thread the first time around. I'm still wondering if I can substitute my potatoes for the packaged hash browns, or if anyone can tell me what store I can find them in around here. I looked at Stop & Shop and didn't find them. TIA. Martha
