Hey Exercisers! It's Monday! Who is working out?
I did a 5.5 mile run this morning...long for me, but it went OK. Wouldn't have wanted it any warmer, though. I can tell I will have to be getting up early this summer for any runs I want to do.....
Next?

Hi Kathy. Good job on the run. I am such a running princess (when not pg!)..can't be too hot, can't be too cold, or I am on the treadmill. It counts whereever you do it though! :)
I walked for 10 minutes today, and then went to 30 minute Step. Trying to induce labor..no luck yet!

Hi, Kathy -- great job!
I did my usual, but added 2 minutes on the treadmill... I just add a little at a time, because I don't like to hurt! Also added 2 crunches... Did the shoulder PT and the usual stretches.
Off to clean bathrooms, now...

Had another sluggish weekend so I made myself do 45 minutes on the Nordic Track to make up for it!

I did a yoga class today. I noticed that the back-to-back-to-back workouts caused me to have some aches and pains I don't usually have. I did Pilates on Saturday, a class called Body Flow on Sunday, and then yoga today.
Does anyone else belong to a gym where they push the Les Mills choreographed classes? Body Flow is a combination of yoga, Pilates, and tai chi. I think the idea is ok, but I really had a much better workout at both the Pilates and yoga classes. I just don't like these canned programs very much. How about anyone else??? Ever heard of them or participated in them?????

We have "Group Power" which MIGHT be Les Mills? It is a choreographed weight training class. I like it a lot. However, if we went to ALL choreographed glasses I would not be happy. For example, when I am teaching Spinning, I want to pick my own music! If I had to just teach a canned class I wouldn't do it.

I'm late to the party - did my Pilates DVD at home since I had no motivation to drag myself to the gym.
I have only attended a couple of "canned" classes at another gym as a guest. I would imagine I'd get bored doing to the same routine to the same music, but I bet the instructors get bored even more quickly!
