Ken Lay could now get up to 175 years in prison.
Jeffery Skilling could now get up to 265 years in prison.
These two men deserve whatever they get. It is possible that the judge will order them incarcerated today! I'm heading to the airport now, so I won't get to hear the rest, but for those of us in Houston that were tragically affected by the actions of these and others at Enron - it is a good day.

Have you seen Enron: the Smartest Guys in the Room?
If not rent it. I had no idea of everything they did!
Those two deserve the "rolling blackout electric chair" imo.

My brother was subpoenaed to testify in this case. Fortunately, the defense decided that they didn't need him at the last minute. I thought it would have been cool, though. My bro thought otherwise. :p

I wanted to see that movie, but alas, I live in such a small town, there is no way it would make it to the theater. Thanks for reminding me - I need to check netflix.
I read the book Conspiracy of Fools about Enron, and after reading that book, I wasn't sure how much culpability to assess on Skilling or Lay - it seemed that Fastow was the real crook, and that he was aided more by Arthur Anderson than Skilling/Lay. Skilling/Lay have some culpability, but it seems that their culpability was for remaining intentionally ignorant rather than being an active participant like Fastow. Curious about other people's thoughts...

I would also recommend the movie, Enron,Smartest guys in the room". I was just listening to a political commentator on the radio saying what sherri said. He also had read the Conspiracy of Fools book. The guiltiest guy was Fastow and he knew it, so he jumped to the front, cut himself a deal, and will get off with a much lighter sentence that Skilling and Lay. I did not follow the trial that closely to have an opinion myself but doubt any of them deserve a break....
