OT- How are you after the flood?

Hope that everyone is doing well, we had tremendous amounts of rain in PA. Since we couldn't make phone calls last night, lightning and thunder, I will be calling family members and friends today. Scary that it is to continue until late this afternoon

We faired just fine. Our neighbors had lots of water in their basements, though. I saw a lot of carpets laying outside last week. We put in a French drain and sump pump when we moved into our 75+ year old home 5 years ago, and it has paid off twice now! And I know this won't be the last time...We're very lucky that we haven't lost power. Do we invest in a generator? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/frown.gif
