Have any of you checked into this web site yet? I have just pulled up the ship records of my Grandfather when he came to America in 1907! How neat to see it in print. Here it is if anyone's interested: http://www.ellisisland.org/

Thanks for sharing this site, gabbyh. I've always been interested in geneology, and this is a fascinating site, especially if you have relatives that came to American via Ellis Island.

Yes, I knew about this a couple of months ago, and it was very hard to get to the website. Seems everyone in the US was checking for their relatives. I was able to find my father-in-law. He came in the early 1900s.
