Happy Monday everyone!
Finally home and back into it...I did a 3.3 mile easy pace run this morning, and it felt really good to be out running again. Still planning to mow the front and side yard before hitting the showers.
I also just wanted to report that I peeked in on the June pregnancy thread to see if I could find out anything about Terri, and it looks like she had her baby!!!! Here is the info that I am shamelessly swiping from their thread....
Terri had her baby! I just got off the phone with her.
Joseph Daniel was born at around 10:30 last night, 6/2. ........
He was 8 pounds 13 oz and 21 inches long........
Congrats to Terri and Dan and welcome Joey!!!
Congratulations from all of the daily exercisers, too, Terri!!!! :) Hope you are all doing well (and getting plenty of sleep!)

Congrats to Teri and family.
Congrats to Kathy too. I will have to go back through my CL and look for the article. I've only done my first glance - I like to do a quick glance through the whole mag and then go back to things more in depth. Cool!
I got my walk in this morning - about 50 minutes. It was very strange to walk without Bailey! I had two arms swinging and felt kind of naked. ;)
It's absolutely gorgeous here today - sunny, in the 70s and dry. We live on a golf course which can make for good walking, but we are also just down the street from one of the bigger lakes in the area. It's a pretty walk - woods (filled with critters and birds) to one side and the lake and homes on the other. It's picturesque and mostly shaded.
Take care!

Good workouts everyone! I intended to make it to kickboxing class this morning, but ran into a glitch :( So I just finished my Pilates DVD here at home. Tomorrow will be another C25K run/walk - my modification is that I am just starting out at week 4 instead of at the very beginning.
Kathy - Congrats on the CL article. My issue is laying here, unread, but I plan to take a peak later this afternoon! Did you have a great time in DC?
Congratulations to Terri, DH and welcome Joey!

I've never visited this board before but something happened this weekend that has spurred me into a diet/exercise routine tout suite. (Ok, I'll tell what happened, a picture taken at a reunion included a prominent shot of my butt. When it was emailed to me, I went, "Oh, my gosh!!)
So, today was a half hour walk carrying my 8 pound cat. He enjoyed it. Lunch was a little tub of cottage cheese. It's going to be one step at a time.

Alysha, good job getting in your long walk, but where was Bailey?
Middydd, glad to have you join us! 30 minute walk with an 8# "weight" ( ;) ) sounds like you are off to a good start. Keep it up! Glad your "weight" enjoyed the walk. :D
Thanks for the congrats! I wasn't too sure about the whole thing at first, so didn't mention it to anyone outside of DH and the kids. But it has been kind of fun to hear how surprised some of my friends and relatives were when they saw the article.
See you all tomorrow! :)
