This AM I got up and did yoga with Steve Ross (Inhale) while DD was getting ready for band camp. Later, I walked 3miles on the treadmill while finishing a movie DS and I started yesterday. I think getting back to an early morning exercise thing is going to be really good! (Except right now I am thinking about ditching the vacuum cleaner and taking a nap. :o)

Sheila, I forgot to respond to your question, but yes, we had a GREAT time in DC. We saw everything we wanted to and then some. Everyone had different favorites, but two things all agreed on were going to the top of the Washington Monument, and eating at an Iranian fast food place called Moby Dick's House of Kabob. We ate there 3 times, and it wasn't even close to our hotel! Personally, I thought the National Archives was very interesting, to which DS told me "You're weird, Mom!" Anyway, we had lots of fun, but it is really good to be back home.

So back on topic....who else is exercising today? Post it when you've done it! :)

Kathy,

I didn't exercise today but did spend 3 hours at my son's Field Day at school. I'm STILL sore from my class on Sunday and didn't move up and down the field too quickly. :o

I finally picked up the June issue. I can't wait to read all about your exercise routine.

Hi Kathy and Martha!

Today I worked for 3+ hours in a vineyard removing shoots and suckering. Lots of bending and stooping, so hope that counts as my exercise for the day! ;)

Good work, Martha and Peggy! I am sure field day and vineyard work are as challenging as most workouts (maybe more so since they lasted a lot longer!).

Your Sunday workout must have used some underutilized muscles, Martha! I am sure I have lots of those, myself! :D

Peggy, what is "suckering" and why were you working in a vineyard? Does it belong to someone in your family? I have heard you mention yard work often, but never a vineyard, so I am just curious.

See you all tomorrow!
