Was just searching for Peanutty Noodles and ran across the Frozen Butterfinger Pie. Although I'm not a huge dessert fan, this one would sure hit the spot...tonite!

Has anyone tried it? Thumbs up? Down?

Haven't tried it, but I copied the recipe and would like to try it with some chocolate graham crackers I bought while my boys were on a kick...they had added calcium. Does that rationalize a more nutritious desert?

I've made it three times with great success! I put a bit more of the candy in than required, though. It was a hit with my nephew who doesn't even like chocolate cake!

Deanna,

Your post inspired me to try this pie for our July 4th cookout. It was a huge hit! It's delicious and refreshing, especially when the temps in the 90s and so is the humidity! If you haven't tried it yet, you should.

Thank you all for the feedback...it is on my "to do" list...

BTW...I took the Jamaican Banana Bread to the office today (baked yesterday) and it was a big hit.

However...my oven must be screwey...I lowered the temp 25 degrees and instead of an hour I baked it 40 minutes. A toothpick came out clean and the sides were quite brown. Upon slicing this morning, I found a patch dead center that was not fully cooked! Oh well, I will try again, because everyone loved it.

I found it in the recipe search feature. Just type in Butterfinger and it pops up.

I made this pie this past weekend and had it for the first time last night with guests! It was incredible and got great reviews! A must-make dessert!
