Hmmm. I wouldn't have thought about it, but I guess I would try it if someone offered it to me. It doesn't sound that appetizing though.

I think my FIL would love it, though. He loves peanut butter.

My ex-husband ate hotdogs with peanut butter for lunch every day for the 13 years we were married.

I thought it was gross then; I think it's gross now.

Oh, and in case anyone's wondering - we divorced for other reasons. :D

Before I moved here, I sent my now-husband a care package of American food items, and of course I included a jar of peanut butter (since I LOVE PB). After a while I asked him if he had tried it, and he said, "Yeah, it was kind of weird." I asked him what he ate it with--jam, honey, or what--and he said, "Ham." I guess he was thinking it was some kind of butter substitute. No wonder he didn't like it!

I have a good friend who had braces as an adult, the clear type of brackets. The orthodontist told him absolutely no mustard, that it would discolor the brackets. Someone had the bright idea of putting peanut butter on his hot dog & that's how he ate them for a couple of years. I tried it... it's really quite tasty!!! But I have to admit, my initial reaction to the thought of it was YECCCCH!!!!
