Guess I'll kick things off today since I was up and out early to take advantage of the cool weather. 60's and overcast, and I felt like I could have kept going and going. Had to get back and get the family going instead, though! :D ANyway, I went for a nice run (about 4-1/2 miles) and took the dog for a walk to cool down.
Think I may get to that yardwork today, too, since it is so nice out.
So who else is working out today? Post away...... :)
OH me me
Kathy- Good for you for getting up early and getting it done. I wish I felt like I could keep going and going.
I so excited to be posting today. This morning it was pouring and I didn't want to take the baby out to the gym since we leave for California in three days, so I put him down for his nap, dragged out my old step and videos and did 45 minutes of step. It KICKED my butt, but I am so proud of myself for doing it.
OK who else?

Hi Kathy and Heather. :) Great job!
It's just gorgeous here today. It's in the 60s, sunny and not a cloud in the sky. Cool breeze too. Great, great day for a walk.
I took a 50-minute walk near the lake. I'd like to do some strength training, but we'll see.

Great work Kathy, Heather & Alysha!!
Pilates DVD at home for me! Then a quick house-cleaning with help from the boys, and now we're sitting down to watch the USA-Czech Republic game - GO USA!!!

Hi Kathy, Heather, Alysha, Sheila and Lake Martin Gal,
I just returned from a short run (only 1.5 miles). Then I walked at least a half mile to get home. I should have gone this morning when it wasn't so hot and sunny. Me no like hot and sunny runs :(

I did do my exercise, finally :D ! About 45 minutes of walking on the treadmill and stretching for my back. I'm going to try to do it at least 3 times, hopefully 4 times this week.

What a great beginning to the week for so many of us. I worked out today in a way I haven't in ages. I worked with a personal trainer. I met with her about 3 months ago, and she helped me come up with a series of exercises starting with the larger muscles through the smaller muscles and finally ending with abs and back exercises. I've been able to either do the whole routine in one visit or to spread it out with lower half and upper half on different days. I asked if she'd meet with me to bump up the program a little bit and to help me with some new exercises.
OMG! If I can roll out of the bed in the morning and actually be able to drink a cup of coffee (as in, able to lift my arm to move the cup to my mouth), I'll be impressed! It was a killer workout! WONDERFUL! I honestly don't know when I've ever sweated so much in one workout.
Don't look for me tomorrow. :D :o I'll be the one making whimpering noises. (Actually, I'll be in class tomorrow night from 6-10 and won't have time to work out at all anyway.)
Anyone else for today?

Just a quick "Hi" and "Goodbye" for awhile. We leave tomorrow morning for 3-1/2 weeks in Scandanavia so I won't be checking in on the daily exercise threads. We'll be doing a lot of walking so that will have to be my exercise until I return. I will be here with all of you in spirit! :)
Take care and see you when we return!

Good job, you guys!! I went for a short run (really short, but hey, it was a run and that is what counts, right?!) and now I am waiting for the kids to clear out of the playground, so that I can use it to do a few exercises, like calf raises, pull ups, etc. :)

Bon Voyage, Peggy :D
