We are moving soon, and I would like to have cards printed with our new address to send to friends and family. I am looking for something simple and relatively cheap. Anyone have a favorite site from which to order printed cards and/or invitations? TIA

I order from Chelsea Paper.com. They have a good selection, but aren't cheap.

Am I dreaming in remembering that one of our own CLBB members has a stationery store? Help, someone tell me I'm not crazy... :o

I have had pretty good luck with vistaprint.com. I ordered invitations to a college graduation party and was able to upload a picture. They arrived quickly and looked quite nice. But same as Memartha, they were not cheap.

Yes, someone here was making beautiful cards and stationary. Hhmmm...

I tried Vista also and was pleased. I don't remember it being that pricey, but I guess it depends on what you choose.

You're not dreaming.... LaurenG has a stationery design store/site and some nice things (IMHO).

You can order photocards or photo post cards with a 'we've moved' design and a picture of your new home.

yahoo, snapfish, costco, etc.

Thanks for all of the ideas, and please keep them coming. Unfortunately, we are moving to yet another boring apartment complex, so photocards are not particularly attractive. Maybe when we finally buy a house...

I used Vistaprint for my daughter's birthday and they turned out great, I waited to long to order though and the shipping was more than the stuff. So if you order with enough time it is reasonable. Also, search on google for a coupon code as Vistaprint always has some special going on.

Paula - a friend sent me a great photo moving card that was a photo of her two kids in a box. The box had a label saying "We're moving...again." A picture of the city instead? I think some of those places (costco, snapfish etc.) might have moving designs to chose from too. Might be your cheapest option. Could also get postcards to run through your printer (i.e, from Avery) and do your own. Or just send out an email like it seems most people do these days!
