Another beautiful day here with morning temps in the 60's! I took advantage of it and went for another 4-1/2 mile run today. My legs will really be sorry tomorrow, but the morning temps are supposed to be upper 70's the rest of the week, so I am sure my runs will be shorter. Working tomorrow (12 hours) so I hope my legs aren't TOO sore and tired! :o

Next? :)

Hi Kathy and Sheila,

Good workouts. Wow, that's quite the run, Kathy. Good for you.

I went to the Cycling class and Muscles class at the gym today. Then I had a massage and the woman giving me the massage confirmed what I already knew... my ankle is still swollen and I've been doing too much. :o So I'm going to try to ease up a little on the running and cycling until the swelling goes down.

Good job Kathy, Sheila and Martha.

I did the same old 50 minute walk. It's getting busier and busier the closer we get to the move, so I guess I should be happy I'm at least doing something.

I definitely need to do more, but that will have to wait until next week.........

Does shopping count? :o I walked through 2 grocery stores and Sam's Club, as well as Kohl's...

Tomorrow is another day of shopping, too!

Kay,

I'm sure you covered a lot of ground! Do you have a pedometer? It might be fun to get one to clip onto your waist and see how many steps you take in a day like the one you just had.

No pedometer, but my legs and feet think it was about a mile, anyway! :D

Does sitting on your rear count? I just sat through the longest class....4 hours!!!! I fidgeted enough that I probably burned 500 calories...especially that last hour!! :D

I did a few leg exercises early this morning hoping to fend off the pain from the hard core workout yesterday. So far, not too bad. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
