Can anyone tell me how long the recipes fromt he CL website recipe finder are available for viewing? The ones that I found there a couple of months ago do not come up when I put in a keyword. Are they only out there for a specific amount of time? If so is there a way to determine when they went on so you would know how much time you have left to copy them? Any help would be appreciated. I would definitely be more diligent about getting the ones that I want in the future but having this information would be very helpful. Thanks!

I have had the same problem and would be interested to know what the CL rule is on how long to keep recipes. I was surprised I could not find the recipes in the "recipe finder".

Folks: Sorry for the confusion. We don't pull down recipes at all--once they're up, they're up indefinitely. Your problem may be the result of the way our searches are configured. If you search from the recipe finder on the home page, you
get one set of results, drawn on the database of 2000 recipes. When you go to the advanced search and put in the same
search terms, you may get the same results in a different order, or slightly different results because this is a more sensitive search, and it may kick out recipes it doesn't think fit your parameters. You can also search a separate set of recipes from the article search page (http://cookinglight.com/food/search.asp). When you do an article search, it will search all the recipes we're putting in each week associated with new articles on the site, as well as recipes associated with archived articles. To do a complete search of the site, you'd have to use both the recipe finder and the article search, which you can find at the url I pasted in above. I hope this information is clear and helpful--please let me know if it isn't. Thanks. Lisa Delaney, CL.com editor

Lisa thanks for your response the url you mentioned did provide a wider search but I am still not finding the recipes that I was looking for. They were from May and the article was the Ten Best Recipes Ever and it listed an Italian Cream Cake, Mocha Fudge Pie and there was a Greek Style Scampi (Along with 7 others) I don't find any of these recipes anywhere on you site. Is it possible that I am still not doing it right? Has anyone else been able to locate these and if so what specifically are you dong to find them? Thanks for any help.
