Salsa and Cream Cheese Baked Tostitos spotted!

OK, I'm just excited because I found these at my local WalMart the other day. According to the bag they also make Cheddar Quesadilla. I used to love these and haven't been able to find them in a long time, so I thought they discontiued them. Anyone know the scoop? Did they start making them again or have they always made them?

I wondered the same thing. I used to be able to buy them on the East Coast and then all of a sudden they were gone. The only ones I have been able to find here are the plain baked ones.

Funny, I just bought the Salsa and Cream Cheese flavor on Sunday, thinking I hadn't had them in a while!

Our store has had the salsa-cream cheese flavor consistently (yay Wegmans!) but the Cheddar Quesadilla flavor has been MIA for a long time now. Which is too bad, 'cause they're tasty!

I wonder if this is just one of those "too many varieties, too little shelf space" things.

I haven't been able to find ANY Baked Tostitos around here! In fact, I also noticed that 'WOW' chips are MIA. Did something happen with the WOW's that I don't know about??

Maybe they're slowly making their way west... I haven't seen any Baked Tostitos in my California Safeway for some time now.

Those baked Tostitos are quite MYSTERIOUS here in PA, too! Sometimes they're everywhere ... other times they're NOWHERE to be found. I think it all depends on whether or not I NEED them!?!! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif
