About 12 years ago, I had a Forester Sisters tape...It was stolen out of my car. I have wanted to replace it, but I can't remember the name of the CD. I have looked on Amazon, and nothing rings a bell....the one song I really remember was about an unwed teenage mother remembering the fling she had with her boyfriend in the field behind the church.
Sound familiar to anyone? If you know the name of the CD, it sure would be helpful...
Thanks in advance...Nancy

Hi Nancy,
I'm afraid I can't help you but I can point you to another BB member who might know the answer.
Jewel is a big fan of the Forrester sisters, as I recall. She isn't on the BB as much these days, but I just noticed that she did start a thread on the Great Food board yesterday. If you try to contact her by PM or by email, or if you go to that thread on the Great food board to bring her attention here, she might be able to give you the information you're looking for.
Good luck!

HI, I am not sure if this will help because I don't know that particular song but I like their songs. I googled them and this site came up. Hope it is helpful!

Oh my....now this is going to drive me insane.
I know exactly what song you're talking about, and I cannot think of the name! I had ALL of the Forester Sisters on cassette, and then they melted in my car....and only a handful are available on CD.
I can almost bet you money it's on one of their first two albums. First one was simply Forester Sisters and the second was Perfume, Ribbons and Pearls. All I have on CD is Greatest Hits and it's good, but nothing like the album cuts that I loved for so many years! I remember listening to that song over and over very early in my love for this group, and for the longest time I only had those two albums, so I'm sure that song is on one of 'em....just don't remember which one or how you can get ahold of one.
I looked on Ebay and couldn't find anything. I can find the PR&P CD online, but they're going for $60!
Keep looking! And if one ever comes up for auction on Ebay I may have to fight you for it! :D

Yes, there are other things I should be doing...
I found two copies on cassette on the Canada eBay site. Both are about $10 US:
Perfume Ribbons and Pearls (http://cgi.ebay.ca/Forester-Sisters-Perfume-Ribbons-Pearls-cassette_W0QQitemZ4892578220QQihZ003QQcategoryZ160 0QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Here's a copy of the other one on cassette for about $6 US

That's it! :D Jasmine-Rose, you found it! It's Reckless Night and it's on the first Forester Sisters album. "She rocks her baby in the cool moonlight...memories of a Reckless Night..." *sigh*
They have Canadian Ebay? I'm a dead woman!
Thanks for the help! Nancy reminded me how much I love that song and those wonderful harmonizing ladies! Now why we can't find any of those albums on CD I have NO idea!

Jewel, I'm glad I could help. I thought that if you had the titles they might start you to singing along in your head and - presto! - you'd know which one it is.
It started me to humming "Mama's Never Seen Those Eyes"...
Happy shopping (I'm such an enabler) :D

You guys got me going and I had to go out to my car and find the Greatest Hits CD. Hubby is in Alaska this week so I was able to country-out the house and no one was around to make a fuss! :D I remembered that my favorite song by these ladies is "You Again..." : "If God gave me the chance to do it all again...I'd choose you again..Times weren't always good...seems like the Lord gave all the easy parts away...but every time the road got rocky...you looked at me to say you had all you needed as long as I was here with you..." :)
Nancy, if you're able to find either one of those two first albums on CD, please let me know! I'll pay you to burn me a couple of copies! ;)

Good to see I'm not the only Forrester Sisters fan out there. Jewel - I hear you on country-outing the house when hubby is away. It's even worse now that we have an AM station here that plays nothing but country legends. Since I can't get AM in the house, I go driving for no reason now just to listen to the station. In fact, they played "You Again" just last night. :) My husband thinks I'm such a dork.
Since we're on the subject, there was a country Christmas cassette that I used to have that had a Forrester Sisters song, I think something like "A Carpenter, A Mother and A King"???? It was a great compilation cassette, had Emmylou Harris and some others on it, too. I would love to find this on CD (yeah, I know it's July but I'm thinking ahead). Anyone know this one? I can't remember the name.

Yipeee!! Thanks Jasmine-Rose...I 'won' the bid on EBay (was the only one bidding) so it looks like I have a cassette tape of Forester Sisters coming my way.
Great music...I also enjoy the song 'You again' and whenever 'Sincerely'
comes on I grab up the cat and have to dance with her!
Jewel...if I find it on CD, you will be the first to know, and I'll burn a copy for you for free.
Thanks again, ladies. Your great!

I'm happy for you Nancy. I checked yesterday and noticed that the cassette was no longer available and I was hoping that it was on its way to you. I'm glad I could help you find something that you wanted so much :D .
