Does anyone else see the red folders?

Hey! The red folders are back. Does anyone else see them. They are suppised to differentiate between posts you've read with no new posts versus new posts. Does that make sense? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/eek.gif


Okay, I tested this out by logging off and then back on to see if I'd get yellow folders - and I still see red folders for those I've read - even though there are no new posts. I must be crazy. Right? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Do you mean the little picture of the folder next to each post is red? I see red text (versus blue) for all posts that I have read, whether or not there are any new replies to them. I've never had the folders themselves turn red on me. I wish I did see something different for posts I'd read, but had new replies posted since my last look at them.

Oooo. I saw them once. But only once. I thought it was a new feature or something when they came up red, but I have yet to see them again. I thought I might have been halucinating, LOL.

Oh, yeah, and they were ALL red. Not just the ones that had been updated since my last visit.

I have not seen this happen. All the folders on my screen are yellow alone or yellow with flames. When I read something, the topic turns red, but the folder does not change color. Wonder what gremlin is vising you today?

Now in my world-- strange place that it is-- any topic I click on, whether actually opened or not, turns brown while I'm on it for the first time, then red after I leave it. "Untouched" topics remain blue. Unless I physically clear my history, things remain that way. Once history is cleared, topics all return to blue.

Hey, I'm personally a lot less annoyed with the color business than I am with the #%*%!* thing telling me I'm not a registered user or unauthorized to edit my own posts! Trade ya!

(and no-- I wasn't censored. That was me venting frustration.)

I was referring to the little folder icons turning red.

I have blue text for "untouched" topics, and red text after I've entered.

This is the 2nd time I've seen those little red folders. But, of course, they've disappeared again.

I'm not sure what gremlins I have either, Pat, but so far they seem friendly (albeit a little crazy)! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Whoa...that's kind of creepy! Don't you just keep expecting Rod Serling to step out and begin his monologue? I mean, I've seen some things come and go-- sometimes I can scroll down and read other messages while I'm posting mine, sometimes I can't sometimes I get a red message asking me if I want to...
