Help! I love this skirt, but can't really justify the price - $78.

If anyone has some extra time or energy, I'd like to find a similar skirt in the $30-40 range - or a discount for this one would be great! :D

This one is from Ann Taylor - what I really like about this one versus others I've seen is the way it "flares" - it's tighter at the waist, and comes out to a bell shape at the bottom.

Thanks in advance!
Ashley

I saw some similiar skirts at Marshall's a couple of weeks ago. You might want to check there

That's my favorite style of skirt, and I do find them at Marshalls as well as T.J. Maxx, and on occasion, Kohls.

I have to say though, that Ann Taylor skirt is beautiful, and for $78 you might get quite a bit of use out of it.

Find out what day your local Marshalls or T.J. Maxx gets their shipments and go later that day or the next morning. You'd be amazed at the goodies you can find that way! That's my trick anyway - shhh, don't tell the people who live in my town! :D

Here is a similar skirt at Target for $19.99

(sorry I don't know how to paste pictures) :(

I was going to suggest Kohl's, Target or even Ann Taylor Loft. Cute skirt!

Thank you so much for the suggestions -

misskitty - that target skirt is cute! and cheap! :D

also - I'll check into the Marshall and TJ Maxx shipping dates. If they are going to get shipments before I give in and wear the skirt (cause I already bought it, still trying to justify ...) I'll go for it.

Thank you!

Ashley - can you justify the cost on a per wearing basis? You know if you are going to wear the skirt once a week for the next 10 weeks...it is only costing you approx $8.00 a wearing ;)

Ashley - you already bought the skirt? That would be a hard one to give up. I could see wearing that not only in the summer, but also the cooler months simply by the type of blouse or cardigan you wear with it. Black and white is not limited to any one season, just the fabric would indicate when not to wear it.
