Back in the late 80s and early 90s, Wendy's restaurants (at least the ones in Texas and Louisianna) all had these huge all-you-can-eat salad and pasta bars. We used to eat at them all the time in college. I believe they had some sort of clever marketing name other than "salad bar," but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was.

Can anyone help me? This has been bugging me for four solid days. I've got to move on!!!

Thanks!
Robyn

I seem to remember the one here being called the "Super Bar", but I'm not sure if that is what you are thinking of.

Didn't remember the name, but they had the BEST chunky blue cheese dressing. Chunks the size of quarters!

I loved their salad bar. I wish they'd bring it back.

ETA: they had them in NC and SC.

I remember it being called "The Garden Spot". Am I just older than the rest of you...?

I remember this, too. Part of it was a taco salad bar, part was just your basic salad fixins and I thought there was another "theme."

I think they had pasta and sauces too---I think that was the other "theme"...at least it was at the Wendy's in the little town outside Houston where I lived...
