OK- for some odd reason (too long to go into here) I ended up with half a can of whole cranberries. I'd like to use them this week but I'm afraid that all I know how to cook with are fresh cranberries (or just put them in oatmeal). Anyone have any suggestions/recipes?

Thanks!

m4star - You can take some chicken breasts, season with a bit a lipton onion soup mix (or your favorite seasoning), add the cranberries (mash them up a bit) and bake. You can also do this with a cut of meat and bake. The lipton onion soup and cranberries make a nice sauce when heated together and it is not overly sweet.

I think there is a recipe in July's issue which is a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce.
