How to Edit Post?

I can't figure out how to edit a post. I've looked at help and there's an icon of a pair of scissors. Am I missing something? Is it right there looking me in th face? Thanks.

When I have done it, I used the "Edit" button, which appears at the bottom right side of your post next to the "Quote" button...when I have edited, it has been immediately after I posted, so I don't know if that "Edit" button disappears after a while?

Editing to add ( ;) ): I went and looked at older posts of mine, and the "Edit" button is gone; maybe you can only edit until there is a newer post, not sure.

Or try the back button if you want to edit a post immediately after submitting it... ETA, you can only edit your own post, but I assume you knew that... ;)

This is correct, you have a small window of time to edit posts.

I wanna say Jennifer has the board set to allow editing within the first 45 minutes. It might be a little longer than that - like an hour or two hours, or whatever, I'm not sure. But after that time, you can't edit anymore. The old board didn't used to be like that. You used to be able to edit anything, anytime.

I, for the most part, like time limits placed on editing.
