Good morning all and welcome to the weekend! What kind of workouts are you getting done?
I did a run this AM, thinking I would go 3 (MAYBE 4) miles. Kept changing my route, and felt OK enough to add on a little, and I ended up going 5.9 miles according to Map My Run (http://www.mapmyrun.com/index.php?s=1&d=mapmyrun.com&) . That is my longest yet, and I am happy with it, but dang it, I would have added another 0.1 if I had know I was that close to 6 miles!!! :p Oh, well....gives me something to shoot for next week. I may run tomorrow, but it will definitely be a shorter run.
So who else wants to report? Jump right in! :)

Ok, I can officially add my workout to the thread. It's not nearly as impressive as running 6 miles, but I did 40 minutes on the treadmill. Does it count if I have it set on an incline of 9 and a speed of 3.8? :D
Anyone else???

Great job, Kathy and Melanie!
I finished painting the pantry yesterday and stayed up late sorting stuff for Salvation Army, throwing stuff away and general organizing so I ended up oversleeping for step class. I did my Pilates DVD and then reloaded the food, pots/pans, etc into the pantry - it looks great! I hope we can keep it this orderly
Tomorrow DH and I are getting out of town for an overnight. We will stop on our way for a round of golf.
"See" you Tuesday morning!

It has to feel good to get that job done, Sheila! Have a great time with your DH! :)
Melanie, that must have been an intense workout with the incline set at NINE! The most I have ever used is 6, and that only for short intervals. It really does crank up your workout, doesn't it?
I did a short run this AM, and an even shorter walk with the dog. It was already close to 80 degrees at 7:30 AM, and getting hotter by the minute. I think our high today is supposed to be 97. Glad I got it done early!

97 degrees? Blech! I think we must have made it to low 90s. Not bad by the 1st of July standards.
Sheila, what Pilates DVD do you have? Just curious. I've yet to find a video that kept my attention. That's why I have to go to the gym so often. Maybe I'll stumble across something some day.
I did a full-body workout this morning...lots of weights, machines, lunges, crunches, and who knows what else. Great workout.
Anyone else out in CL "real world" exercising this weekend? Come on and join us! :D

Hi everyone! I love these weekly threads. And I'm so glad to have a long weekend! The weather has been pretty hot around here as well...
I didn't get around to exercising on Friday - well, aside from a leisurely three mile walk. Yesterday I walked about 5 miles, biked for 30 minutes and did some arm weights.
Today I started with my PUSH dvds (both the cardio/personal training) session and I'm going to do some leg weights at the gym later today...
It's been a nice exercise weekend! Happy 4th!

Thanks for joining our little workout thread, Greatcook. Anyone else is also more than welcome to add to the daily threads. It's just a nice easy way to keep track that we're each working out regularly.
I did 40 minutes on the treadmill this morning. Did anyone else workout today?

Good workouts, Greatcook and Melanie!
Nothing official for me today as we spent most of it visiting DS at scout camp for the official "Visitor's Sunday". I did, however, get a lot of walking in as we went around the camp to see the various activities.
I'm scheduled to work tomorrow, but may be staying home on-call as things are a little slow there. If so, I will try to get in a run. Either way, I'll "see you" soon! :)
