anyone had their legs waxed???

i was game to try this, seriously, and even let my hair grow, until i saw the prices.....eeoooowww!:rolleyes: i was so clue-less, duh. i can put that $30 to much better uses....but i'm curious about other person's experiences. not talking bikini/brazilian wax, just legs, same as one would shave for the summer anyway...

very curious to hear your thoughts...do the results justify the cost? it would help me, but it's not necessary, if you would share your age group.

I've never been waxed, but I use a Braun epi-lady type thing (I use it so much I'm hoping to get a new and improved version...maybe the Emjoi AP99 Optima Epilator). But I will say that it really hurts on my legs! I could do my bikini area without blinking an eyelash, and when I do my lower legs, it brings tears to my eyes. :eek:

$30 for a full leg wax or a half leg wax? If it is a full leg wax, that is actually cheap. Can't speak about the experience, because I just wouldn't want to grow my hair out long enough to get it done (especially this time of year). :)

i used to get my leg waxed last year all summer long - basically every 6 weeks. I paid $25 for "two half legs" .

I did it before I went to Thailand in March, and not shaving was VERY worth it...

I've been doing it for a couple of months now...Brazilian and upper leg half. Absolutely worth it. In my case, it's been life changing. I know it sounds exagerated, but it's true.

And $30.00 is cheap. :)
