Before I try this, have any of you used soy milk to make Cappuccino? I know the directions suggest using skim or low fat milk; however, thought I would ask first.

I just posted your question on a vegan board. So far just one reply (it's been less than half an hour) and they stated that you can use soy milk but to be careful because it can burn very quickly. I'll keep you posted on any further comments. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

I use soy milk to make my lattes and I love it. It's a bit sweeter than milk and it will not foam (only one brand I tried did foam). It does get creamy and it tastes really good to me. It is an acquired taste though, many of my coworkers didn't care for it in their coffee.

Hi! There is just one other reply on the vegan board this a.m. This reply also addresses the fact that soymilk burns rather easily and doesn't foam. This person suggests that lattes might be the way to go (as goldilocks has already noted, I see).
Let us know what your experience with it is like.

Well, we tried using Silk and, while it was satisfactory, it did not foam so we decided to simply make the espresso and pour in a tiny bit of Silk.
