Happy Friday everyone! :)

We had somewhat cooler temps this morning, so I thought I better take advantage. I did a 5 mile run, then a walk with the dog to cool down. Tomorrow and the next several days are supposed to be pretty much sweltering, so I am sure any runs will be much shorter.

Thanks for joining me yesterday, Melanie. I think you definitely deserved a break after 3 straight weeks of workouts! I hope you enjoyed your rest.

What is everyone else doing today? Reports please! :D

It's Saturday! I'm supposed to be working on homework! I'm doing my favorite past-time - procrastinating! :D

I had a wonderful yoga class this morning. After I came back home, I mowed the yard and trimmed back some limbs hanging over my neighbor's fence (nasty long and VERY SHARP rose branches). I'm showered and ready to work on homework...as soon as I can quit putting it off!! :o

Anyone else exercising today?

Hi, Melanie! Good job on the yoga this morning! That's what I did, too, although mine was a tape at home. I also got back out for another 1.5 mile walk with the dog last evening.

Good luck with your homework! :D

Next?

Good job, girls :)

I went to step class and body sculpt class this morning. New instructor. Lots of squats and pushups. Going to be sore later...

Melanie - I have always been good at procrastinating, too! Don't tell my kids but I did quite a bit of it in college ;)

Hi to Kathy!

Who's next?

Hi Kathy, Sheila, and Melanie! I haven't participated in this thread in a looooong time, but I think I'm ready to get back into it. This morning I ran three miles and did about 30 minutes of weight lifting. I was happy I went early enough that the heat wasn't too bad.

Anyone else?

Hi, Kristal! Nice to have you join in, and good job on your run and weights! :)

I did another walk with the dog last night, then an Inhale yoga tape this morning. I really like doing yoga first thing in the morning!

I'll probably walk the dog again this evening, but it is waaaaayyyy to hot to get out this afternoon...100 degrees high today.

Welcome back Kristal and hi to Kathy. Good job on the workouts. Kathy, we're not going to quite tip 100, but when I'm looking at an entire week of mid-90s, what's a few degrees. It's HOT out there!!!

I did a full body workout this morning with weights, the ball, a mat and a bench stacked 4-high. :D Great workout!

Anyone else squeeze in any form of exercise today?

Another 100-degree day here :( We are going to our local Shakespeare Festival tonight, which is by the river, so it should cool off as dusk arrives...

I went to the gym for weight-lifting and my smidge of cardio this morning :)

Good to "see" you again, Kristal!
