This one is handy if you are going to be taking it out to serve or will be in a hurry when getting ready to serve. Most of the ingredients are combined and frozen. About 20-30 minutes before adding the ginger ale, take the frozen package out of the freezer so that it will be easier to work with. If you forget, that is fine. It is just easier to get out of the package.

Orange Juice-Banana Punch

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 can Pineapple juice, large
2 cans frozen orange juice concentrate, large
1 can frozen lemonade, large
6 cups water
2 cups sugar
5 bananas
6 28 oz bottles ginger ale

Puree bananas in blender. Mix all ingredients except ginger ale together. I freeze in zip top freezer bags. I usually divide into four bags so that it stays slushy. Pour bottles of ginger ale over punch. Stir and serve. Also, if you do not need all the bags, they can remain frozen for use later.

Here's my favorite

OPEN HOUSE PUNCH

6 bananas
1 can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice, thawed
1 can (6 or 12 ounces) frozen lemonade, thawed
1 can (46 ounces) pineapple juice
3 cups water
1 cup sugar (omit if using 12 ounces of lemonade)
4 2-liter bottles chilled ginger ale

Mash bananas in blender with small amount of orange juice. Combine with remaining orange juice, lemonade, pineapple juice, water and sugar. (You will either have to do this in batches in a blender or in a really big bowl.) Mix well. Pour into containers that fit into punch bowl (I use Cool Whip containers). Freeze until firm. Two hours before serving, place frozen mixture in punch bowl. Add ginger ale (I also do this in batches). Makes A LOT!
