Your answers reveal you are: The Compassionate Hero
All we can say is: Wow! Your answers indicate that you are one of those lucky individuals who have compassion pumping through their veins all the time. Your unusual level of sensitivity allows you to really feel for other people and put that empathy into practice unconditionally. Although you’re probably no saint, your ability to do the right thing provides a benchmark for the rest of us. Even though having this open channel of feeling for others can sometimes feel like a burden, you could learn to regulate it by finding a profession that puts it to full-time use. You could find a significant amount of happiness and satisfaction applying your innate capacity for compassion to a variety of humanitarian activities or to a full-time career in one of the wellness professions, including Massage Therapy. And we’d be lucky to have you.
I do not think so - took an introductory course in Massage Therapy. Yuck, not for me.
I massage my DH and kids, but I don't like touching a stranger's hairy legs and feet. They can tell me their problems if they want to though.

I am a compassionate avenger:
When someone needs help, you swoop in. You have an innate sense of compassion that is closely linked to your sense of fairness and justice. When you encounter situations that require your help, getting involved is practically automatic. You still have a strong sense of self that allows you to care for yourself first in order to be in the best possible position to help others. You could find satisfaction by volunteering, teaching or developing a career in one of the wellness professions, including Massage Therapy.

yeah, i come up as a "hero," too, and one has to wonder...i know they're trying to sell me something. also, i have a background in social psych and market research, and that was one of the most poorly-designed questionnaires i've ever seen in 20+ years, sorry.
in case you question my judgment, the criteria are: 1: Validity, meaning reliability; 2: Accuracy; 3: Repeatability.
there are also significant questions like N (= sample size).
so, it was fun, but it's very scary for anyone who takes it seriously....

i found the questions and the answer choices interesting- some i had a really hard time choosing between two and some i couldn't understand the choices at all. whatever- it was fun to take. has anyone investigated the site further to see what it was about besides maybe promoting massage therapy?? ;)

Another avenger here. I don't put much stock in these type of tests (but I think they are fun to take ;) ), but given that I'm a teacher, it's interesting that it suggested teaching as an avenue for me. And I do care a lot about justice, fairness, etc.

Questions like this really annoy me:
13. The reason I would help someone else is:
Then they would owe me a favor.
To hear them say "thank you."
It makes me feel good.
What about helping people because they need help and not because it makes YOU feel good (the obvious 'right' answer).
And, I came out as a compassionate listener.
