The KC CL CC had a fun get-together yesterday. Despite a high temp. of 98 degrees yesterday, 17 members & children attended a picnic at Theatre in the Park in Shawnee, KS and a community theatre production of "GREASE". The menu included recipes from CL - Balsamic Marinated Bean Salad, Chicken Muffuletta Sandwiches, Chicken Sate' w/Peanut Sauce, Spring Rolls w/two Sauces. Other menu items were Ginger & Lime Melon Balls, Strawberry & Cucumber Salad, Banana Bars, cookies & brownies. It was a fabulous meal & great event. The only downside was a "Sandy" who couldn't sing. :eek:
