Love Sara Moulton!

I saw her "cooking live" show on food tv last night for the first time - it was fantastic! The recipes she made were so accessible - ratatouille with penne, mushroom and asparagus salad with shaved parmesan, and peaches with caramel sauce over ice cream. Yum! I'lll be tuning in every day now!!

I having been a fan of Sara Moulton since her show first aired, several years ago. I live in Phila and every year our town hosts whats called the "Book and the Cook Fair". Celebrity chefs from all over "host" a dinner at various restaurants in our center party of the city. The celebrity host selects the menu, oversees the kitchen preparation and is the "host" for the evening. Last year for our anniversary present my father booked us a limo, driver and dinner with Sara Moulton. I was thrilled!!! Dinner was delicious, seven courses, different wine with each course. She welcomed the group to dinner. There were about 40 or so of us. She personally "visited" each table. Our table was the first she sat at. I thought I would faint. She pulled up a chair at our table and chatted with us for about 15 to 20 minutes! I can honestly say she is even nicer and totally geniune! Since that day my DH is also one of her biggest fans!!!

I don't watch daily, but I do enjoy her show when I do. She looks so tiny, expecially when she has male guests on her show.

I enjoy most of the Food network chefs, but we watch Sara everyday. She's the only one whose recipes I regularly use. We're very big fans, and, yes, we frequently try to figure out how tall her guests are!
