I liked tonights episode and challenge. Loved the winning desing (not the color though), and was a bit surprised by who was "out".

SPOILER (Highlight this area to read the spoiler)

I thought Andrea should have gone due to some of her attitudes, but I would have gone crazy being partners with Vincent. Though I have to say Milan was just weird and I think he had a really fake sounding accent. I thought the mom's dress was beautiful, but looked more bridal than pagent.

/SPOILER

I hope this isn't considered a spoiler as well, but just in case...

My favorites this season are Michael (wish he would get more air time, I feel like they barely cover him. Its all Vincent, Keith and Tattoo guy) and Robert. I think they both have so much talent. We'll have to see how long they all last.

This is a definite spoiler, so it's all in white:

First - I thought it was cool to have Vera Wang on the show. Who knows more about gowns, than Vera Wang?

I thought that Laura (the stylish lady with the red hair) designed a beautiful dress, but Miss USA clearly stated "earth tones, no white." That dress was white. Hhhmm, better listen to the client's preferences when designing a custom dress.

I felt sorry for Milan, he bugged me before, but I started to like him a bit last night. His dress DID look like carved wood, as Tim said. It was not flattering for a womans' body, however, I thought the work he did on the fabric was very interesting. Maybe better on a coat or something. I felt sorry for him when he got the boot.

I don't think Angela should have been up there. Vincent didn't give her a chance to do a thing. That was odd. Plus, I did not like anything about his dress.

Loved Uli's dress - that was cool. I thought Kayne and Robert's dress was pretty, the rhinestones were a bit much, but I thought the fabric was gorgeous. They need to re-fit the top of the dress, it didn't look right.
This is an interesting season. And I LOVE Tim, I think he is great!

I love this thread and this show. I'll also put my comments in white.

I can't stand Vincent! He was unbearable toward Angela and I can see where she was getting a bit weary of him. I would have been PO'd, although I found her to be annoying. She can't sketch?? That's strange for a designer, isn't it? I thought Vincent's dress was ok, nothing special. I hated the way the top fit.

I liked the Kayne dress. It was bit frilly and fussy, but probably perfect for a Miss Universe pagent. I was glad he won, especially since he owns a pageant store and how wonderful will that look on his resume!

I thought Laura's dress was understated elegance, and beautifully fitted. I don't think it was right for a pagent though I loved it.

I thought Uli's dress was gorgeous!

Thank goodness no Michael Kors last night. He annoys me sometimes. I was shocked to see Vera Wang. She looks so different from what I thought and she didn't have much to say though, did she?

GingerPow: I love Tim too. He's just so nice!

I read somewhere that the 15 minutes they devote on the TV broadcast to the runway & the judges comments is actually more like 5 hours or more of real time. Can you image trying to edit down that much time to get to the "meat" we see?! Example: It was interesting last week when the winning dress was shown w/ all those beads around the neck in one shot... & in the very next shot they were gone. And you never saw them asked to be removed. Looked much better w/out the beads. I'd love to see more of the nit-picking of the judges.

maybe there'll be DVDs with lots of bonus features...although i don't think i'd buy the show after seeing them all once.

Vince isn't a team player-he's a team dictator!

I would have kicked his a$$ 10 minutes into that challenge

Me too! The judges's comments are always my favorite part. I missed Michael -- he comes up with real zingers. I am not sure who I like best this season yet. There does not seem to be any outrageous Santino types. Design-wise, Uli seems very talented. I actually wish this show was 2 hours per episode, I just love it.

So did anyone see the winning dress on the Miss Universe Pagent last night? She looked great. Unfortunately not great enough, she got 5th place.

OT, but when did these big pagents become places for celebrity judges, not one experienced judge in the bunch. With all do respect, what do Tom Green and Emmit Smith know about pagents?

This my absolute favorite reality show! I have the first two seasons on DVD. :)

I loved the first dress that went on the runway--I think it was Jeffrey's design. It was a beautiful color and I loved the design. I do not like Vincent at ALL!

In the previews for the coming episodes, it sounds like someone gets kicked off the show! I wonder what that is all about.
