One hot meal!

Ever planned one of those meals, then asked yourself, "What was I thinking?"

Tonight, I made the Chicken with Orange-Chipotle sauce from June, with the Chipotle-Maple Sweet Potatoes and Jalapeno Corn Bread from July. Yowsah!

First of all, it was all sort of orange/yellow. Second, it was all really, really hot. DH and I both cut our teeth on jalapenos, but there was no respite from the heat emanating from the food.

I think it was all good, but my tastebuds are still a little numb!

I have planned one of those before....and was not too happy- I know what you mean.
The next time I made the same chicken recipe but, I'd have like, a non-spicy potato recipe and rolls or crusty french bread!!
