Has anyone ever made this? It's from the 6/00 issue. Was curious how it tasted. Thanks.

I made this "way back when" and as I remember it was a hit with the whole family.

I made this last year and was rather disappointed with the results. It was very bland, and I thought it should have been creamier. There was just something missing... Maybe you could alter some of the ingredients and spruce it up...perhaps more mushrooms, extra spices, etc.? Sorry I don't really have any good suggestions for improving! If you try it, I would love to know your thoughts.
