type of stores sell crystalized ginger?

You can get christalized ginger at Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Cost+. Or if you don't have these stores in your area, go to a gourmet type store.

I actually found mine at the Super Wal-mart! It was in the spice section. We live in Texas (Gulf coast) though so don't know if this is a regional thing or not. You might just check someplace like that or ask your regular grocer about it. Good luck!
