Hi Jewel! I know it was really difficult, oh the withdrawals. I got some work done-which I had to do since I have a 5 day weekend.

I checked out the Southern Living website and found a fantastic recipe for a light cream of cilantro soup which I had to have for dinner last night. I will be posting it later on today because I know that the cilantro fantatics will swoon.

It was extremely hard for me, especially since I've finally got the lap top up and running at home and was anxious to play around online with it.

I was out of town and away from a computer for 5 days, so was anxious to see what had been happening on the BB. Apparently, not much! I could not get on at first and when I did I noticed that there had not been any posts for over 2 days! It felt like visiting a ghost town -- "Where has everybody gone?"

Speaking of cilantro, has anyone had the cilantro hummus from Whole Foods? OMG, it is so wonderful. I tried making my own and I must admit it tasted pretty darn good. I just used a regular hummus recipe and added an entire bunch of cilantro. Yummy! Plus, I finally had the famous drunken goat cheees. I must say I'm hooked.

On the "We're Cooking Now" group, SandyM posted Maelynn's reply about the problems we're experiencing with the boards. Evidently, the move to the new server is still having some glitches and people at CL can't even get on the Internet at work to see when the durn thing is working. I don't know what I'd do if I had no Internet access at all, but having the boards down--or sporadically up--has to come close!

I'm curious to see if this even posts to the thread, as I opened the thread through the "today's topics" thing when I couldn't open the "good foods" board.

No, Sara, you're not the only one. Incredibly slow here, too, but at least it's working! Gotta love that!

Can't comment about the name/password thing. I haven't had a problem, but it all depends on your browser, cookies, etc.

I have been trying to search July '01 recipe reviews so I can add to the posts or check how people liked them before trying them out. Can't get a single thing!!! I am so glad the board is back! Just when I needed it again! My youngest daughter visisted me last week and my oldest daughter and her family (my 8-mo. old grandson and husband) visited me from Friday thru Monday so I have been so busy that luckily I did not go into withdrawal.

I checked a few times and could not access the boards. Yes, I checked even with company as precious as that! Sad, isn't it? Now that my house has calmed down, I am glad to be back!

While my visitors were here, I tried the Triple Choc. Cheesecake from way back and everyone liked it very much. My son-in-law still says he likes the cheesecake from a Light Southern Living Cookbook the best but he says that about every other cheesecake I make. I also made the Blueberry Pound Cake. My youngest loves pound cake so she was the one I made this for. She loved it. She is going to the beach this week and asked to take leftovers with her. Always a compliment.
