looooooved the show tonight! i totally agree with the winner! i wish michael would get more air time though. i thought angela's outfit was atrocious, and i think keith should have gotten kicked off because he basically gave the judges the middle finger by not trying to dress the dog. did ANYONE see him make "four outfits" for that dog? and could laura (i think that's her name - the redhead woman) have been ANY more of a brat about not liking dogs??!

Loved the winning dress! But I had half an eye on the show, as I just got back from being away and was catching up on email; I wanted to watch the replay right after the show but DH stayed up and looked at me like I had 2 heads. So I'll have to catch it later this week! But I'm glad Keith didn't go, as I think he's pretty talented if he can get his huge head out of his arse. I felt bad for the girl who had to leave, I thought it should have been the other one with the Judy Jetson skirt - Angela?

I actually liked the losing dress!!! I really wish it had been Angela to go. She annoys me. I loved the dress Uli and the one Keith did - both really great. I kind of wanted the birthday boy to win - it would've been a nice present!

And...now we know we only have to wait until next Wednesday to find out who gets the boot!

So I wish it had been Angela to leave rather than the one they kicked off. I did not get Angela's story or her outfit. I'm guessing she's never spent much time around 6-12 year olds. But oh well. Loved Uli's dress, and the other blond girl's all white number. That was really beautiful and you could tell she was just crushed that she didn't win.

I agree that I would like a bit more time spent on Michael, his stuff always looks so cool. Can't they just keep him for the critique once? I feel like we don't see much of him at all during the hour. Maybe he's just really boring. And Keith's arrogance is entertaining. Can't wait to see how far he makes it.

Next week should be exciting.

I pretty much agree with what you have to say every week. I thought Uli's dress was gorgeous. I think she is so talented and has an unbelievable eye for pattern and color, which doesn't come easy to everyone. I thought the birthday boy's outfit was ugly. I hated it. I thought the girl who was voted off made a really cute dress - one that my daughter would have bought in a second, but I agree with Tim that a little hoodie with it to match the dog would have been very clever. I think Angela's outfit was HORRIBLE. Who dresses like that? I usually go to the web page the next day to get a closer look at all the outfits. I thought the Barbie-doll designer's blouse was adorable.

Yeah, Laura was very rude about the dog. They (the dogs) were all adorable. :D

i hate the the photos on the website are so crappy. they don't look professional at all! it's hard to see the outfits properly on the site...and that's disappointing. they can pay ME to take photos for the site!! :D

They put the outfits in the windows at Macy's if you're ever that way.

I liked that dress too and it would be adorable on the right girl. I think they're keeping Angela around a little longer because she's such a train wreck.

really?! i had no idea! i was just at FIT yesterday for a conference. i think that's right near there, right? for future reference, what street is macy's on? i don't usually hit up big department stores in the city - i prefer little hole-in-the-wall type places, but i'd LOVE to see some of this stuff in person!!

Macy's is on 34th Street. As in Miracle on. :D

Missed the first half of last night's show, liked Uli's dress, also the young blonde's (can't remember all the names yet), loved Michael's. He's not getting much attention at all. Strange... And I agree that Keith's attitude makes for some good TV! I've been thinking all this time that he reminds me of someone, finally figured out last night it's Jakob Dylan... :)

According to my resident expert who has, of course, been there and checked them out, they're not well made (finished) at all.

The winning dress was gorgeous, and I would buy it myself in a second- but I totally agreed with the judges on the loser. Her dress wasn't finished- and all of these stunning designs came off the same sewing machines, that was rather pathetic that she blamed it on the equipment. Her dress was also not women's wear- as they were supposed to design. It would have been appropriate for a young teen, but definitely not women's wear.

The only edge Angela had over the loser was that her dress was finished and well-made. Did she just step out of the 80's or what? Who the heck wears bubble skirts?

I can't wait to find out what the scandal is!!!

He reminds me of a brunette Jude Law!

Does anyone else listen to Tim Gunns Podcasts on itunes? If not I urge you to! They're also on the Bravo site.

Tim's commentary is hysterical and he comments on things that were edited out. The producers don't fill him in on any o fhte drama so a lot of times he walks into situations blind.

He can't stand Vincent or Keith.

He also said that someone is constantly stealing the bobbins from the sewing machines and it has to be a sabotaging designer.

I have got to get those Podcasts! Tim is my favorite on the show! He just gives undiluted opinions? - that should be fascinating.

You can listen to them on the Bravo site too. I highly recommend them to fans.

Keith is actually a lot more arrogant than they show on TV.

Tim was really angry that Keith used a bracelet as the dog collar and tried to pass it off as his own design.

I'll stop here :p

So yesterday after seeing the preview commercial for the zillionth time for this week's episode with someone being asked to leave, I just have to ask: Is anyone else starting to wonder if this is a big red herring? That there will be some twist and no one's off the show? Ugh, 2 more days to wait... :)

I'm here on the Virtual Couch! Warming up with the rerun from last week. I almost forgot it was Wednesday and then DH reminded me Project Runway was on (he who pretends to just 'tolerate' it... :p )

Thanks for the invite! I'm there! I'm also watching the re-runs (as I type) leading up to the new episode. Started listening to Tim's podcasts - he's great.

I brought some virtual Tortilla Strips and Southwestern dip to go with your drinks, SheRa, let's pass 'em around! :D
