I know this has already been discussed in a previous post, but I keep getting an error when I try to search for it.
What is your cookware recommendation?? I'm in the market for a few new pans and would love any advice.
Thanks!

I LOVE Cook's Essentials sold on QVC. I bought a stainless steel set for home and an enamel set for work. NOTHING sticks to this stuff.

I agree with Personal Chef. cook's essentials is great cookware. I bought a 10 piece stainless steel set that QVC was selling over a year ago. The nonstick coating is still like new and they encourage you to use metal utensils with it (which I do). To top it off, the cookware is very affordable compared to the other big name brands.

I have posted this before, but I am happy to tell you all again how happy I am with my Berndes cookware. I had registered for the Berndes crepe pan for my wedding, and feel in love with the nonstick surface and the lightness of the pan. In addition, the don’t have those darn rivets (the screws that hold the handles on) that are so hard to clean.
I wrote a more detailed review on epinions.com. http://www.epinions.com/hmgd-review-45D5-C2F158B-3A3A44F7-prod1/tk_~CB003.1.26 You can find reviews of all brands of cookware there (as well as everything from hotels to hand lotion to cars).

I read this post a couple of days ago. Yesterday I was channel surfing, and lo and behold, Cooks Essentials on QVC.
the cookware looks great. Now don't get me wrong, I won't part with my All-Clad 3qt. saute pan (not the only All-Clad I have, but my favorite), but I'm now thingking of ordering a piece of Cooks Essentials and giving it a try. Which piece should I get?

I can only recommend what I would NOT buy - I really don't like my Calphalon non-stick set (it was a gift, I never would have picked it). It is so heavy, I can't even lift the smallest sauce pan with one hand, the handles get hot (they say they don't - they lie, I have the burns to prove it), must use plastic on the non-stick, etc.

Peeps - I love my Calpholon set (the only "set" I own) for the most part. I just hate the 12 in. non-stick omlette pan. It's horrible! I found that the $12 non-stick omlette pan I just bought works much better.
M4star,
Since you first posted your query and the format has changed, just thought I'd fill you in on what little I've learned in the past couple of hours. Apparently, the old general archives and FAQ archives are gone now, and the contents have been returned to this active forum. If you run a search, you will now get links which work, and span way, way back to threads from last year. If something is in the Popular Threads Archive, the search will tell you the name of the thread and that it's in the Popular Threads archive, but it doesn't automatically take to to the thread unless you're searching all forums or searching specifically in Popular threads.
Dunno if I just confused you, but the important thing is that you shouldn't be getting error messages anymore.
Go forth and search! :)
