I was just trying to help Loren find a chocolate chip cookie thread (I can't stay away from CC cookies OR threads about them ;) ) and could not get the search function to work at all while using Firefox - I tried over and over. I then decided to try it using IE and I had no problems at all.

Anyone else encounter this?

I have really come to like Firefox - no crashes (or at least VERY rarely), but it's frustrating when it doesn't work so well with certain software.

I've never had any problems. There are certain Flash things and movies that I have to play in IE, but bulletin boards have always been fine for me. I *heart* Firefox. I have it at home.

Hmm, I use Firefox and generally don't have any problems with the search function.

Hmmm...must have been a fluke. I just tried searching using Firefox again and no problem.

So, I guess the persnickety search function is to blame. I don't know if that's a good thing though - chances of that getting any better is not so good.................

But I'm glad Firefox works - I don't like switching between the two if I can help it.

Alysha, when it didn't work, what exactly happened or didn't happen? I have occasionally searched and had it just hang or bring up a blank page. When I refresh or try again, then it's usually ok. <shrugs>

Nothin'. Nada. Next time I'll have to try refreshing. Thanks.
