View Full Version : Tae Bo Anyone

Is anyone doing Tae Bo? How is the program working for you and do you notice the toning or building of muscle? I started about 3 weeks ago and feel much stronger however, I am noticing that losing weight is slower and I assume it is because I'm building muscle. I would like to know anyone else's experience with this.

I don't know about Tae Bo. I did take kickboxing, and found it to be very fulfilling. I noticed improved all over muscle-tone, my abs were outstanding (of course after 100 situps five different ways, who's aren't)and my energy level actually went up.
I really am skeptical about Tae Bo, though. I think that I gained a lot from learning how to have good form and maximize the effectiveness of my movements. Not only that, but it's a great lesson in self-defense.

I do notice that my abs are getting tighter and you are right about the form issue. Taking a class where you get personal instruction as opposed to doing a video with just verbal instructions may be the way to go...I'm going to look into that. Thanks
