Does anyone know a brand of vitamins that
would match the daily values required of
amounts suggested on page 56 of the top
25 vitimins and minerals.

I was going to recommend the one I take, but then I got to comparing it with the list, and found it didn't match up on several elements, like Biotin, Vitamin K, and Chloride! Hmmmm....

(It's Walgreen's A to Z, by the way.)

I picked it out because it has the USP seal on it. I've read that some vitamins don't meet their requirements for dissolution in the body.

I have to add this comment - please be careful about how much iron you consume via vitamins. I recently found out that I was getting too much iron from my vitamins since I have a pretty decent diet in the first place. Too much iron leads to nasty medical issues. Also, most kids should not have iron in the vitamins that they take.

Nutrilite vitamins are good and well-researched, because they are made from real plants, not synthetic sources. And pesticides aren't used, either. They've been around for over 60 years, I think, but they aren't sold in stores, but by independent distributors.
I think they are the official vitamin of the NHL and NBA.

One thing you have to remember is that you may not get everything you need from one supplement, and that's okay. I believe even the article states that you really have to evaluate your needs before deciding to take any multivitamin. Not everyone needs all of those vitamins, especially with a good diet.

I would recommend Thompson's vitamins. I take a Vegetarian Multiple (no iron) from them, and really like the balance of vitamins it includes. Plus, it's made without synthetics and pesticides! (BIG bonus). I also take Schiff Vitamin C w/ rosehips -- they make good multivitamins too.

I have been using vitamins from Eckerd Drugs. If you go online, you can personalize your own vitamins. All you need to do is answer a few questions and they tell you what to take. It costs $19.95 for a 30-day supply. I have been happy with them.
