I have never baked my own bread or dough and am wondering a few things. The last issue had a recipe for pizza dough and instructed you to "let it rise" in a warm(85 degree) place until doubled in size. Where is the best place to do this and how long would it take?
Thanks for the input!

Since we live in a very warm climate, I often let my dough rise outside (usually in the shade). In the winter, I put my oven on warm (lowest setting) while I'm preparing my dough. When I'm ready to let it rise, I turn off the oven and place the dough in there. Also, I use a very slightly damp towel to cover it with (very slightly). My bread or dough always comes out great!!!

I usually let my dough sit in the oven. I don't have to put it on since the pilot light is always on and keeps the oven warm. Baking with yeast is wonderful and rewarding..try it!!!
