What type of store is Libby Lu? Walked by one today at the mall and it looked very girly...

I've never been in one but we just moved to a new city and have one of these. The salespeople were all wearing tiaras and feather boas - very girly!

Club Libby Lu is sooooo girly!!!
You go in (really your little girls) and they have different packages to buy. They can get their hair done (with sparkles and colors) in different "looks". Get make up to match. Take home little girly things...makeup, purse, etc.

Most girls love it (maybe the 3yr -10yr old crowd???)...it's sort of embarrassing to walk around with them afterwards :) but most moms know where you've been. :)

I want to say they have a website.

edited to add website: www.clublibbylu.com
But the descriptions and pictures are modest compared to what they will do to make it "all that" for your girls. :) You usually have to say "enough glitter spray really". :)

Great place to have a birthday party! They get to mix their own bubble baths, perfumes, etc....Probably expensive, though.

OOOOO I forgot about the bubbles and stuff!!!! It's not too expensive really, not
for every once and a while...at least from what I remember.

My daughter turns 7 on Monday. We already had her party (and that was present enough IMO!), but I told her she could pick ONE thing she wants more than anything else (within reason of course) ON her birthday - she chose a "makeover" at Libby Lu. It will cost me anywhere from 22.00-35.00 depending on the package we choose, she will get her hair and "makeup" done, and then she'll get to fix up some glittery, girly lotions and stuff. :) Around here, it's THE place for little girls to go. You can have parties there, but I'm thinking the average price is 20 bucks a kid? Something like that. NOOOO thank you.
The kicker is, Monday night is our "meet the teacher/orientation" night at school (a new school for us since we're moving next weekend)...so she'll be meeting her teachers with her Libby Lu 'do

Don't be embarrassed! It always makes me smile when I see a little girl in her tutu, or tiara, or Halloween princess outfit, or something like that...I can just hear the mother 20 years later "and when you were 5, you refused to leave the house without your tiara!".
