THANK GOD!!!! they FINALLY gave michael some camera time, and his fabulous design won! he really nailed it. again, i was drawn to uli and kayne's designs as well, but i'm super excited about the winner.

i agree with the losing outfit, although IMO they could have gotten rid of all of the bottom 3 (vincent, robert and bradley) because they haven't been cutting it lately.

i want so badly to like jeff's style, but it just hasn't worked for me. i liked the model's hair, but the outfit didn't scream madonna to me. ah well...

the competition is getting steeper, and i'm lovin' it more and more!

also, on a TOTALLY picky side-note - i was watching it with my FFIL, and he pointed out that heidi's left eye was weird. i never noticed before, but she appears to have a lazy eye. i'm not trying to pick on her - it was pointed out TO me, but i can't help being kind of smiley when i find out someone who's seen as "perfect" has a flaw or two. it makes them more human to me :)

SheRa, we must've totally trashed your place with the Mojito party last week, I notice you didn't invite us back! :D

I agree with you about the bottom 3, we could do without them all but then the season would be shorter and I don't want THAT!!

I have never been a huge Angela fan but I was really happy for her when Heidi said "I would want that dress in every color".

I also want to be more WOWed by Jeffrey and had to chuckle when Laura said something along the lines of "if you're such a successful designer why are you here?"

I was also so excited about Michael being shown more last night and winning. I have really liked him from the beginning.

Wasn't too sad to see Bradley go. You can only have one slightly crazy designer and Vincent has that one in the bag.

Found Robert's outfit boring...again. He will be gone soon is my guess.

Ok, so Vincent is all about the wacky old hippie thing, I get that, but really, what woman would wear that dress he made. It looked like something I could make (if I had ever learned how to thread my sewing machine correctly).

I was pleasantly surprised with Angela as well. And I agree with not responding to Jeffrey's astetic. I just can't feel it. Loved Laura's comment to him. Someone needs to put him in his place.

I really liked last night's challenge, and thought it was fun. Can't wait to see next week. Really hope they keep showing Michael, he's my favorite.

Oh, BTW, what was with Heidi's outfit last night? It was just a really strange combination, but that seems to be her theme this season.

When they showed Michael calling his mom I knew he would either win or go home. I was happy for him when the judges were so complimentary of his "perfect short". I thought his model looked fabulous.

OK, so I don't like Laura *but* a couple of things that I do appreciate. The judges are always talking about point of view and saying "express who you are as a designer". Laura, more than anyone else, does that. That outfit last night just screamed Laura (by way of Kate Hepburn) didn't it? I found it endearing that she defended Angela when noboday else did. She's obviously got those pg hormones going on. But please please please stop showing off that bony chest!!!!

Uh, Bradley? You don't know *&^% about Cher?? That was just incredibly lame.

I liked this challenge a lot.

The white thing with the boots? At least she wasn't wearing the pinafore/bloomer combo of last week but yeah, we need to Auf her stylist.

I only have a second for a quick post: Loved the whole episode! It was refreshing that Michael seemed humble and appreciative of the judges' praise, so happy Michael Kors is back, and Jeffrey's quacking gave me the best laugh I've had in a long time! :D

who's house gets trashed next? ;)

i honestly didn't think angela's dress was that great, but i'm glad she's toning down the bubble skirt stuff. i was also happy for her when heidi made that comment to her.

laura bores me, but at least her work looks like it's done well.

and how does ANYONE (ESPECIALLY a designer) not know ANYTHING about cher? that halloween costume comment was right on!!

QUACK quack quackquackquackquackquackquackquackquackquackquack :D i was dyin' when he did that!!

I was jumping up and down on my couch just because michael got some air time!

Bradley is so F-ING lazy. Peace out I say.

When she walked out, the first thing that came to my mind was that line of "Auf" underware that Santino did last season!

Great that Michael won & got air time... (nice product plug for Sprint) but I really liked Kayne... that type of dress is not easy to style & make & he does them like breathing.

Bradly had such a strange sense of humor... "like a squid with no ocean"!

I love Robert, love his sense of humor, loved his first few designs... don't understand what's happened to him. Hope he shapes up 'cause I really want him to prove he is better than just Barbie!

And after listening to the pod cast from Tim last week, (about having to use another crew member for the AWOL Keith) I was watching w/ eagle eyes the show montages during the opening credits & before & after the comercials to see if I could make out the "fake" Keith. HAH!! The best shot is right at the beginning-- he is slightly off center of the screen & is turned away from the camera but looking over his shoulder. OMG! He looks like a bobble head doll!!! The head is way too large for the body double they used! It cracked me up & I'll be searching for more of these shots. Too funny!

Another great episode! I totally wish I could wear something like that outfit Michael designed! Wow, that was hot! And what's up with Angela? That was a cute dress.

I'm very glad that Bradley went home. He's really been pretty blah lately. And I'm so glad Micahel Kors is back. I love his comments.

Kayne is getting old though. He obviously is good at designing pageant wear. I sure hope they dish out some challenges that are going to stretch that.

Okay, so I'm probably in the minority from what it looks, but I just Laura is cool. She hits the nail on the head with her comments about the other designers and to the other designers. As for her garments...she's consistant and I'd wear anything she's done so far. I don't know if I can say that about any of the others.

I really like Michael's clothes too though. Plus, he's got a cute personality, I think.

As for Robert, it's like he's imploding. He did great for the first couple of challenges then he fell apart!

I'm glad Bradley is one, but would like to say Auf to Vincent as well!!!

Angela is learning, it looks like. Her flouncy crap at the bottom of that dress last night bugged me, but it was a decent dress.

I loved the dress Allison did for Farah Fawcett, too!

A really great episode!!! I can't wait for next week!

yeah, maybe office wear - like a suit or a more simple dress that still looks sophisticated.

i also want laura to step out of her shell a little bit and do something different - without a collar or suit feel. i like that she sticks to her guns and design principles though.

I liked that Michael Kors was back which surprised me because I usually think his comments are off the wall. He made me laugh last night though with his "crotch" comment to Bradley. It makes me realize the judges know more than I think they do when they catch things that we know the designers are worried about. I sure wouldn't have noticed!

The white thing with the boots? At least she wasn't wearing the pinafore/bloomer combo of last week but yeah, we need to Auf her stylist.

Did anyone notice the outfit she had on in next week's coming attractions? With her hair slicked back? I don't think it's going to be any better!!

About the show: I LOVED the winning design. It was so perfect for that challenge. And it really showed the model's figure to perfection!

I thought Bradley's design was a joke. Ugly. But I haven't liked any of his designs. I think I could probably do as well. Laura's design was very Hepburn I think and I agree that she finishes things beautifully. She also seems to be very patient, as does Michael and Uli. I think that's a huge advantage.

I hope Robert starts doing better. I'm disappointed in my "Barbie" designer. I don't think Jackie O would have ever worn anything like that and I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have worn a belt that looked like a piece of clothesline. Vincent's was horrible. I especially hated it because I have always loved the adorable Twiggy. What an insult to her that dress is.

I thought everyone else did ok.
