Good morning all! Hot enough for ya? :D

No way was I running this morning.....84 degrees at 6:30 AM! Poor DS has CC practice from 7:30 - 9:00 and all I can say is better him than me! At least they were running on trails so out of the direct sun today.

Instead, I did an 8-1/2 mile bike ride. Martha, you have my admiration for all the biking you do. I think it took me an hour to go that far, and I can tell I am going to be sore tomorrow. :o When is the 5K you are planning to run? I am sure you will have a great time! The one I did in May was my first ever, and the whole family enjoyed it......even DS and DH as spectators.

Sheila, hope your DS is feeling better this AM and able to get his run in. Is he new to running? CC in middle school is a great way to start!

So what did you all do today? Post it when you get a chance! :)

Hi Kathy,

Your bike ride sounds fun. Hopefully you won't be as sore as you think tomorrow. On these hot days, I like the fact that you catch some breeze on the bike. My 5K is at the end of September.

No workout for me today, but thought I'd check in and say Hi.

I planned to do Pilates tonight at 6:00. When I FINALLY left my office around 6:30, I had to come up with Plan B. I mowed the yard. The temperature wasn't unbearable...but the humidity was AWFUL!!! Good grief! It was nasty out there.

I'm not sure what I'll be able to do over the next few days. This is it! My son graduates Saturday morning!!! I have company coming in tomorrow through Sunday. I have food to prepare for a party Saturday night. I have a list of errands that just won't quit. I'll squeeze in at least something in the line of exercise each day, but it definitely won't be worth posting here. (25 side steps with a band...not much...but at least something.)

Keep up the good work...I'll be back Sunday or Monday to post again.
