Does anyone use these and order them on-line?
Any special recommendations?

TIA :)

I use them, but I print my own using Avery labels from Staples. I don't get the cute designs, but that's ok with me.

We used to use the self stick labels. But we changed to self inking stamp.
We like it better and you don't have all those little bits of paper backing to deal with especially at Christmas time when you are doing all your cards.
We ordered the labels through Currents catalog. I believe you can order them online too.
We got our stamp from Office Depot I believe.

How is it that you aren't getting all those free ones in the mail. I keep getting them about 3 times a month. There are so many, I could NEVER use them all up, especially since I pay my bills online.

I get freebies in the mail, too. Sometimes they are a little cutesy for my taste, but who cares what the return address label looks like??

Otherwise, I do the Avery label on the printer thing, too.

Wallycat must not be donating money to the American Lung Association, Easter Seals, Special Oympics, Disabled American Veterans ...... I barely even mail anything anymore, so we have more than a lifetime supply. On my long-term to-do list is to figure out how to stop getting those!

I sometimes cut the part with the pictures off - especially if the first one I reach for is a snowman and it's July. :)

Meganator, you forgot the cancer and breast cancer ones too. :D

I use Vistaprint (www.vistaprint.com). You can customize labels anyway you want. I do the family caricture ones for a lot cheaper than other sites. They have great sales. I often get the labels for free and just pay for shipping. I have a link from the Refer A Friend Program for 25% off your order. Let me know if you want it and I can PM you (I'm not sure that I should post it b/c I accumulate points if I refer someone). Once you order, you do get a lot of emails from them but that's how I get the great deals.

I guess I haven't given to Project Open Hand in quite a while - I used to be able to count on them to keep me in supply :p .

But to answer the actual question, yes, I've bought them online a couple of times from Artisitic Labels ( http://www.artisticlabels.com/category.asp) without a problem.

I also print my own using Avery labels. I use clip art and small pictures online to make them more fun. I used a snowflake last year for my Christmas/holiday cards, a pumpkin for anything I send in the fall, flowers in the spring--I think it makes it a little more fun!

I also use the Avery labels. I have a template set up in Publisher. I just use clip-art to add a season-appropriate picture and print whenever needed.

I ORDER OURS FROM HERE (www.currentlabels.com/category.asp) . Sorry for caps. I haven't received latest batch, but liked the last ones we received. They will send you a catalog, but the items in the catalog were $1.00 more than if you purchased online, plus, free shipping for online orders.

The DAV sent a calendar this year with American Flag Stickers, but we would have rather had the address labels.

Avery Labels on the printer. I also print out all the address labels at Christmas time.

I've found some really unique ones on Ebay and for the nominal cost, I couldn't make them for less.

Another reco for Vistaprint. There's always a sale, 99% of the time you just pay shipping. Not sure how they make money, but I love them. And just get the "slowest" shipping. You'll still get your order in a week.

Not a week goes by that I don't get some in the mail... I do love the ones from the Humane Society tho... they are the cutest!! I go thru them occasionally and pitch ones that I don't care for as much.

And yesterday, Capital One. Free mailing labels: they're not just for charities anymore! I don't even mail my payment to Capital One.

Wallycat, have you ordered any yet? I just got more in the mail from St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Never ends.

Nope...haven't ordered yet.
I think I'll do the Avery and I'll watch the mail too. I always dump a lot of junk-type mail without opening it
