My husband is in Miami for training for work and has been gone for 3 weeks. He's due to come home Friday, but it seems there may be a hiccup in his training due to a little thing called Ernesto...! He said no one really seems worried and that the company says he "should be fine..." in his hotel, but he's a certified San Diego Sissy. We don't get wind above 30mph here and that is something like once a year. He has no car, and is laughing when he says his mini fridge has 4 bottles of water and a couple of power bars. He said there is a chance that the company will move him on one of their planes later this evening if the warnings get worse. The training will be postponed if they lose power. He is so ready to come home, I hope all goes well!

I'm further north, but right now it isn't looking like Ernesto is going to be much to worry about for anyone. Its winds have slowed considerably, and it won't have much time to gain strength before it hits Florida. Even if it is a hurricane again, it will probably only be a Cat 1.
